To Be Left or To Be Right – That is the Handing Question

We get a lot of phone calls, emails and general inquiries about handing. It can be easy to get confused over choosing the handing of your new Plisse retractable door screen. That is why we’re writing this post today. To say, don’t worry – just follow these simple rules:

• If your new door screen is a double retractable screen then you don’t need to worry about handing at all. (yay for you!)
• If your door swings inside then go stand outside. Looking at the door if the hinges are on the right it’s a RIGHT, if the hinges are on the left then it’s a LEFT.
• If your door swings outside then go stand inside. Looking at the door, if the hinges are on the right then it’s a RIGHT but if the hinges are on the left, it’s a LEFT.
